Cypress Benefits:

• Unfinished cypress wood will weather and turn a gray patina in about one years' time (time will depend on environment the swing is in)
• If staining or sealing the swing, we recommend re-applying the stain or sealant every 6 to 9 months if swing is left outdoors year round or every 12 months if swing is stored for the winter.

• You will receive an email with tracking number once your order ships
• Customer is not required to be home for the delivery. Your UPS driver will leave the shipment where they typically leave your packages. 

Please Note: 

• If any parts are missing or damaged during shipment, replacement parts will be shipped directly to the customer. The customer will need to have the ability to remove and replace slats, supports, arms, etc. Our policy does not include sending an entire new swing for replacement; only replacement parts for the specific parts that are damaged/missing.
• Stains used are semi-transparent. There will be wood grain and wood coloring visible through the stain. Our stains are not opaque like a painted finish would be. Please see images of stained finishes for reference.
• Unfinished wood will weather over time to a silvery gray color. This process begins with small black spots of mold/mildew which is not harmful but is totally normal. The spots can be left alone to allow the full swing to change color, or they can be removed with a 50:50 solution of bleach and water but are likely to come back once the weathering process begins again. 

Optional Accessories:

Standard Chains:

• Chains are pre-cut kits that will fit up to an 8' ceiling height (If longer length is needed, we recommend picking up some extra chain from your local hardware store and using S-hooks to attach to the swing chains)
• Standard chains will fade/weather over time. We recommend the stainless steel chain upgrade if your swing will be exposed to the elements year round or in salty air near oceans, etc. 

Swing Mate Comfort Springs:

• Chains will fit up to an 8' ceiling (If you need more, we recommend picking up the extra length needed from your local hardware store and connecting with S-hooks or something similar)
